Couple of questions - are Prosports rollers "usually" said to read high orlow compared to others rollers around the area, say Well Lane, Dyno Demon, System R and others?
Has anyone been on other rollers with the same car spec???
I notice lots of cars had significantly higher torque than power readings, most often I think it was other way round, any reason for that - gear run up in ???
Was a fun day anyway! Have to get my 08 Sti on sometime, pre and post PPP !

Ive always run mine at prosport but over christmas ran it on a dastek rr in Chorley rather than the rr pete runs it ran 458bhp and 386lbft .
At prosport it ran 441bhp and 391lbft so torque is higher at prosport but bhp down .
Conditions were simular apart from sunday was bloody cold but Petes fan is smaller.
The rr in Chorley has a lot better fan but temp outside was a good 5 or 6 degrees warmer.
I am led to believe that the bhp figures on the bosch system at prosport show less bhp but better torque.

regarding bhp figures being lower at prosport mine showed 329 bhp and 375torque, prodrives ppp figures are roughly 316 bhp to 350 torque, so if this was true about the bhp being low at prosport mine would be well over prodrives estimates which tbh i cant see them being this far under on their estimated figure as they would be better off claiming a much higher figure and selling more kits. surely .

i ran mine last year at Dyno Demon
didnt like the figures tbh and also didnt like the idea ov them doing it in third gear
i did a rolling road day there and nearly everyones figures were down
i put mine on Prosport rollers 3 weeks after Dyno Demon and it read an extra 15 bhp
On Sunday i ran mine again at Prosport
hadnt done anything to her and the figures were the same as last year
hth

so many parameters can alter a rr figure, u can get upto 20bhp genuine difference. every dyno is different.
people like the dynos which give the highest figure
it should be the way it drives and performs.

Not criticising Prosport rollers, the figures looked a little unusual to me so askesd the question.
My old car was on Well Lane several times during mods,( got into scoobymag too last time!! ) last 2 times a year apart and then elsewhere 6 months later gave bhp within 5 bhp ( 358 - 363 ) and torque around 325 - 320. Although the warrington place couldn't provide run down ( transmission loss ) figures and used a standard figure of around 24% loss .....
As said, it's how it drives that counts, nice to know mods have moved things along though .....
Next RR day I'll bring the new scooby if I may, STi 08 with PPP and maybe other mods!

I should be able to let you know how they stack up shortly as I'm just waiting for them to get back to me about a WALK and alignment and they said they'd stick mine on their RR, with PPP and K&N panel to see what it makes.

Yes mate it's still 4 pipes, you'll find it gives you a kick in the back like the classic instead of the smooth power of the stock 08. It gives you another 50 lbs/ft, which you can really feel.
