I also drive a little pug 106 diesel which has got a dent in every panel. Had I been driving that I would have had no qualms in making contact with his vehicle.

Your key mistake here mate was to not stop and buy a DB9 He'd have been long gone by then

Know exactly where you are mate and as we don't really do merging in turn in the UK you need to be 'let' in I'm afraid (IMHO). That bit is such a pinchpoint and you dont know who gets to use the middle lane till you are on it (this lane being switched between north and south traffic according to time of day and signage). I'm not saying you were for one second, but if I think someone is 'stuffing' into my space or barging in I am less inclined to let them in myself. The one that waits patiently indicating left is much more likely to be created a gap for.

Mind you, that Virage is quite nice too...

That doesnt read very well mate - it was YOU running out of lane, not the superhero already in the left hand lane?

Aye, you are right about that bloody section of road. I also agree about the patient people who wait for a gap to be created. The funny thing is had I been in the left lane I would automatically slow enough to create a gap for the car on the right so as not to cause the traffic to slow further. Its something I always do.

Country needs more blokes like you mate - HONEST. Posting on SN can help too

However I'll be letting every Pug in just in case - wave to the un-dinged Silver Evo 7 on 18"
