Unlucky GTiR, that's a real shame.

Whoops, missed this yesterday..

No problem mate, hope you get things sorted..

Is your mate Dan (MLR) still interested, would be good if he can still make it, although I'd understand if he pulled out..

Also, is everyone ok with sending me a cheque, which can be made out to Rockingham, so long as it's done quick enough for them to clear well before the day..

Otherwise, they could be made out to me and I'd pay Rockingham via electronic transfer once I have everyone cheques.

The final option is Paypal..?

I'm happy with sending you a cheque made out to Rockingham. Can you Let me know the exact Rockingham details to make it out to (i.e. Raceway, Ltd, etc...) and also your address to send it to so that you can collate the cheques.

Cheers,
Nige.

Not sure how this is going to sit with some, but it really would be best for the cheques to be made payable to me or a Paypal transfer inc the 2% (?) handling fee.

Rockingham would prefer a single payment via transfer or debit card, which I can do, ONCE I receive/clear ALL 18 payments/cheques.

This way we are all covered in the event of someone pulling out/not paying up (in which case I would not make the £2000 payment, instead returning cheques/paypal payments and the day would be cancelled) and not in the situation where, say 16 of us have paid Rockingham, but 2 do not and the rest of us need to make up the short fall or risk loosing our deposit..

Even sending cheques made payable to Rockingham to me won't guarantee that some cheques won't bounce, leaving the rest in the same undesirable situation as above..

Obviously this means there has to be an element of trust, which TBH I'd rather not ask for, but I can assure everyone that, as a regular Scoobynet member since 2004, I have never let anyone down in my many dealings with both individuals and professionals who frequent this site..
Also please feel free to email Nanette at Rockingham to confirm these arrangements:

nanette.houston@rockingham.co.uk

If there is anyone else willing to take the responsibility of arranging payment, then I'd be happy for them to do so..

Otherwise, I'll PM my details to all those confirmed on the list..

1. Butty confirmed
2. V8voodoo confirmed
3. V8voodoo's OH. confirmed
4. Andy916 confirmed
5. WRX-Jo confirmed

Jasonius,

Ok, I'll roll with this. PM me your full details and I'll get my and my OH's cheque in the mail to you.

Looks like the number's sticking at around 16, we could really do with getting a few more folk interested in this.....

Thanks guys, I appreciate the trust, I don't like taking such things for granted..

As said, we need to get the last few places taken and until we do there's really no point in sending me anything.

Hopefully we can fill the list over the next few days and then, with a bit of luck, get the payment side of things sorted by middle of next week..

What's the May trackday deal, by the way? Did they give any specifics?

I've popped a post over on the Aston Martin Owners Club Forum to see if there's any interest from there for the last few places.

The second clip looks like the session that Nige was in back in 2007. The blue Scoob was driven by Lee?

The first is the drifting curve that was my fave

Well spotted Nick...!

YouTube - Impreza Slide at Rockingham

That's me at 1:09 and 1:12 in the grey Scoob earerly waiting another go. That kick plate certainly was tricky to get the better of.....
