Look, I didn't deserve to be singled out - as I already stated that I was no expert on the matter! Just reading Jamie's post, turns out I was right anyway! I couldn't give a toss how long he's been on here, nobody "deserves" respect just cos they have a high post count. Trouble with some people on here is that they think they own the f**king site, its a public forum at the end of the day!

Very little to do with a 'high post count', it's how someone conducts themselves in those posts that counts......

I often disagree with Les's slant on many things but I respect him for how he conducts himself on here (especially in comparison to some others)

Their may well have been conscription, but what many people forget is that the whole Poppy Appeal and 2 minutes silence are for ALL soldiers - serving or veterans of any war.

It really grips ma sh*t when people don't care about our forces.(not aimed at anyone btw)

Please can you indicate where I mentioned post counts by the way, I did not even look at yours incidentally until you brought the subject up! You are correct of course in that post counts are of no importance, not as far as I am concerned anyway.
