Massive sympathy to the OP... I imagine that would **** you up pretty bad!

Fully understand why you would want to sell, reading stuff like this makes me want to sell up too and now seriously considering.

Some people should simply be put down, they are no benefit to society, simply consume public money and steal from those who contribute. They are a virus.

I hope things work out for you.

I do wonder why Imprezas are targetted so much, there are plenty of other faster, more expensive cars out there.

All the best.

scarey thing to happen to you and your family, lots of good advice re security,i have a rottweiler that just about lives in the driveway he's a big lad and very well trained its a hobby sort of and the best security ive had, young lads have stopped at the drive gates to look at the car not realising he's there and their reactions are priceless when he comes out of the garage, not everyones cup of tea owning such a big dog but i sleep well at night knowing he's there, just my tuppence i suppose but if your cars your passion and you give it up how will it affect you ?,im actually thinking about buying a wheel clamp,i know it would be a bit of a pain but its got to be a good deterent, ive got a my96 wrx a 57 plate vectra sri and a 51 plate z3 and the only one im bothered about is the scooby?.our lass thinks im mental.

THREAD REVIVAL...

its 6 years next month since I had my front door kicked in in an attempt to steal my car.. just be aware that these things DO happen and be sure to keep you and your cars safe, im still convinced they chose November due to the amount of fireworks being set of to disguise the bangs on my door.

if your car goes youll be gutted, if anything happens to you or a family member youll be devastated!

Christmas and New Year has been the worst for us. 4 years ago we had our new Honda quad stolen. 3 years ago we had another new Honda quad stolen with the thieves cutting the gate locks and chain on the barn where it was kept. 2 years ago we had an intruder enter our house and there was a struggle inside between my Father and the intruder but he did eventually run off and my Father was unharmed. We checked the CCTV afterwards and 3 men were seen on the camera running down the lane. Since then we've spent almost £25k on complete farm and house security and I've also relocated my gun cabinet next to my bed .

All these incidents happened around Xmas and New Year.

One of my best mates is a farmer and his old Dad now has a beautifuly circular vent hole in the middle of his bedroom window where he forgot to open the window when he last used his gun at night!

^^^^^haha lol.

I'd like to see someone yet to break into my house when I'm in as they'd get some broken bones for sure with the baseball bat I have in my bedroom.
Lord forbid if I kill someone in the protection of my family.

Is that a type of robotic spider?

You'd use that on a car thief but not the guy next door that threatens to kill you?

Not sure it'd do much good against a huge 4x4.

Law's been changed since Tony Martin's time (in all aspects of the word).

As long as you can demonstrate genuine concern (for your family's safety) you can make their brains come out of their ears.

All you have to hear is 'give us your keys or we'll rape your wife and kill your kids'.

Yeah but even if you hid your keys and the intruders came upstairs to look for them and they saw you, they'd run a ******* mile! I certainly would anyway! I would't want to take any chances against you.
