I Get a ticket through for stopping in a no unloading/loading area , Wouldn't even mind if i knew about it first thing is this letter & a nice picture of my shiny van , I Was being wathched by a cctv operator who issued the ticket from a central office , £100 Booner or 50 Booner if paid witin 21 days of this letter

Worked that day for nowt then

 

we have this all the time as said before, its beyond a joke TBH. Stop for a few minutes causing no hassle but makes no difference

I Think I Got a Speeding Ticket Today

25mph 4th gear in a 30mph zone (Epping High Street), deliberately crawling passed. No other cars around, dark, but I was probably 50 yards past before the Gatso goes off ?

I imagine if I get a ticket I am fooked there is no justice !

 

Stu - if it's the one going into Epping from the hotel with the traffic lights (used to be the Moat House), then that goes off all the time, even when no cars are on the road!

As long as you were not speeding over the camera speed lines, then you will probably be OK...........

I remember once it flashed a bloke walking past it!

 

Interesting you should say that. Just recently been speaking to a mate who done something simular.
Not exactly broken down, but had his mates recovery company confirm that.
It works.

 

Cheers Looie, I think thats the one. I was heading back from Mocom dropping Zak off in the High Street. Was in the 30mph zone a short while before you go left at the traffic lights into Epping Main. I said to Zak are there any cameras along here and he said there was one coming up. So I drop into 4th so as not to labour in 5th @25, crawled past. Then about 20 seconds later 'flash' 'flash'. "was that for me" ? we just looked at eachother and went "Uh !?" couldn't work out what it could be as I wasn't going fast enough even for the strictest of cameras.
