Well mate, Bob Rawle who has been overseeing my car for me said that this AF20G is a 380bhp turbo on a 2 litre, so i think with a perfect set up 400bhp is possible, not really looked into other peoples experiences but i dont see why not, its a good sized turbo and will make boost over 1.5 bar, so future looks good, i am going to try and max it out, its just my block keeping me at 1.5 bar, might try 1.6 and a few tweaks!.
After a quick search, it looks to me that with all supporting mods for a 20g, v power, and a well sorted car with good heads, running around 1.5/1.6 bar, 400bhp is possible, i have also keep the inlet to the turbo of a small diameter to try and get rid of any boost creep.
nice to know
not into chasing numbers really, just be nice!! shall be tapping you up for info if you beat me to it
when you say good heads, standard or a well ported set of v3/4, big valves etc???

Fingers crossed on the power front, i am starting work on the car again this weekend, hopefully see some power gains and after a visit to Bob again, although a have also just bought a v6 syncro passat which is in need of a supercharger!
.
New battery and clutch in my car now, pulls like she should again now!, just managed to get some new suspension and probably a new dccd gearbox and rear diff, which is nice.
STI RA box with DCCD, rear diff, all running gear including alloy wish bones, Tein coilovers with alloy topmounts, and neetronics controller all arriving to me on saturday, bring on the transformation!.
No reverse inlet for me mate, and i will probably sell that PS tank, too much hassle to relocate right now!, made a little progress today, but tbh the drivers side rear was a right bitch, just started to strip the rear end down today, no rush, the car can be off the road indefinately, the rear centre nut will not undo!, so having to strip the hub off the car with drive shaft complete, to get it on a bench to work on, or try a windy gun.
Suprised me how much thicker the rear RA drive shafts are than the standard wagon one on my car, the wagon ones are about 20mm dia, and the RA ones are 24mm dia.
The rear diff on my wagon was put on when it was converted to from auto to manual, the gearbox was out of an 03 reg uk car, and i have no idea what the rear diff was from, the rear diff has viscous LSD written on it, and has a ratio of 3.545, see pic, a bit odd, i reckon the front and rear ratios were not the same hence my gearbox giving up!, nothing to do with the 370 lb/ft of torque!, lol.
Also ,managed to find out that the rear discs and pads need replacing really.

Got my 'new' battery replaced today, as it was naffed, flat when i bought it a few weeks ago, and would not hold charge!
Also dropped my intercooler pipework to a fabricating compand to get a threaded boss put on for the charge temp sensor.
