There are some really stupid people posting on this thread.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand my requests.

And I fail to see how I could have made it more clear / been more patient.

DO NOT DISCUSS INFRACTIONS IN THIS THREAD OR IN THE OPEN FORUM.

READ THE STICKY THREADS IN THE SCOOBYNET POLICY FORUM BEFORE COMMENTING.

I'm trying my hardest to help you guys here, but you're really not doing yourselves any favours.

You cant discuss it, and Webmaster has specifically requested that infractions are not to b discussed on this thread, at a guess I would say that your infraction was from Admin

Hey guys,

My name is Adrian and I work for Internet Brands.
Sorry about the slowness in response.

In regards to the site speed issue, we became aware of that early Saturday Morning (US Pacific time) and raised the concern with the company in the UK which hosts this site for us.
They informed us that the concern was rectified upon re-booting the server.

The issue arose again on Sunday (again, our time), and was raised with the hosting company again.

As for the concern with the search - I will fix in 5minutes. Apologise for the inconvenience you may have experienced in the mean time.
Rectifying the search will also fix the "last post".

Regards,
Adrian

Thanks for your response.

Not sure I agree that fixing the search will fix the 'go to last post' as the latter was an issue way before the search stopped working, but we will see.

Can I ask that you or someone check in here every so often and at least let us know you are looking at issues. I work in the web industry myself and I know things can't always get fixed immediately, but I think most people would appreciate a 'Hi we're aware of this and looking into it' message.

Appreciate that time is always an issue and can be short, but I don't think it is too much to ask.

Thanks again for responding

To be honest guys.

I had an issue with SN.

IB Adrian sorted it.

Give it a chance.

IB Adrian,

The search is now working, thanks for that, much appreciated.

However, the 'go to last post' feature is still not working. This hasn't been working for a very long time now (3 weeks or so).

Any chance it could be looked at too? Thanks

someone needs to get the site running at correct speed it's getting ridiculous, up to a minute and more for opening a page from clicking on the link to it, it's really starting to p1ss me off to be honest, since paying my subscription the site seems to have gone to the dogs, and nobody seems to care two hoots about it.

Yes I have seen that too and the occasional database error page that a refesh then fixes, but thought I had better keep quiet on those for now

And another week passes.

Look sorry to sound uppity here, but the 'go to last post' is sort of a staple feature of any forum on the web and on all forums apart form this one it works.

I understand that there are different features installed here such as LinksBack etc. but surely after 5 weeks it could have been sorted.

Whilst not 'life threatening' it is pretty annoying not to have it working.

Please at least let us know if something is still being done.

Thanks

This is one of the reasons I'm not paying for another years subscription for an ESC badge. I'm not paying any more money for something that doesn't work properly. It may only be £5 but for me it's the principle of it.

Couldn't this be an issue for trading standards? As the service is not what we have paid for.
