alloy ones avalible if your wanting something abit lighter, MOT's shouldnt be a problem as I have spoken to a garage and they said they have passed cars that have had the spare wheel well cut out so they could fit there back box in the centre of the rear bumper, what i do recommend though is use some sort of addesive sealant such as sikaflex and bolt it in as this will be alot more weather proof and stronger than rivits prices are £75 for steel and £95 alloy (also steel i will supply primed to stop rust )

It depends on what style dash you have mate, what colour suede you would like, a general price would be £120 for facelift dash in black, where abouts are you from mate as if it isnt to far I would collect and return the dash personally

Hi all,

Just to let you all know my Cosworth dealer request has been accepted and I am going to the headquaters on the 27th to have a quick tour and discuss terms and trade prices, as some of you may already know I have to place a large first order to close the deal so seeing as Im going down to them, if anyone would like parts getting please let me know asap as I can personally collect them while Im down their. Im offering a 10% discount on any Cosworth parts that I pick up on the 27th.

Parts available are shown here: http://www.cosworthusa.com/store/pc/...p?idCategory=2

If you are interested in any part please contact me and I will post up the RRP and the discount price Smile

Many thanks

ok guys update time im now completely out off money for christmas haha, picked up a engine last weekend so going to clean that up over the winter period ready to go in, also got some wheel spacers and anti lift kit from CDF Racing, the quality on these is amazing and cant fault them

as far as the engine goes it was built by Autosportif and it last made 414hp on a md321T and it has the ability to produce alot more keeping it abit hush hush for now till the engine is back in but more details will follow people

Are you just using sheets of plexan for your windows? I'm planning on using plexan and using the standard windows as templates. But i've been made aware that you'll need to make some tabs at the top of the window / door to hook the window under to keep the window in place at speed, else the window will flap about.

Or are you using a proper kit from somewhere?

hi james, no got proper moulded windows from plastics4performance but even so I still believe they will need securing at the top to keep them in place at speed

Play in the top of the windows aint to bad as I went for the 5mm thick option instead of the 4mm but they will still need some sort od support and ye its a facelift dash was a real nightmare to fit with the old clocks but think its a big improvement over the pre facelift dash

Aye thicker is probably better like. I like the look of the facelift dash, mainly cos it looks better without the lower bit of the dash in.

Windows look good too, they just mount straight into the standard window mechanism? or have you adapted something to keep them in?
