Am I right in saying that the wastegate is water cooled?
I'm loving the colour combination too - looking forward to more of this thread.

Quick update guys seeing as it has been a while, the rear firewall is now fitted just needs acouple more rivits in it, I also managed to get hold of a 2nd hand set of ksports so ive cleaned them up and will try and get some orange stuff pads off godspeed brakes after payday, the fuel tank has also turned up so ill get a pump and filter ordered after payday aswell and that should be the fuel system up and running for now. engine wise I just need to get some more hose clamps then its ready for just a base map to be put on it so the engine can fire up and idle properly, I live up in the north west so if anyone has and recommendations that would be great, ive spoken to JGM some months back and its to far for him to travel, ive heard steve simpson is good so if anyone has an email address for him I would be greatful, also race dynamix could be worth getting in touch with, let me know what you guys think?

Andrew Carr mapped my 03WRX and later fitted a SimTek to my Type R, I was very pleased with the end results. Not sure where you live but Andrew is/was based near Preston.

I've just found this build mate and read it all the way through. I'm dead impressed mate, you deserve an award. At 18 I was just wasted, couldn't do anything like this.

The car looks the nuts, I love all your handy work. Those wheels are a bit sexy.

Well and truly subscribed
