The pub is named the Needle and Awle, play area for kids too if u need to bring little uns, opposite waitrose store off a junction on the a45. Best place to find it is dead opposite Aldi's (or lidls!) cant remember, its a cheapo store anyway, its opposite that. Its next to the old Motech if anyone can remember that place!

hello im still sniffy! but i did get out in the garden today and felt much better than yesterday!
Think im gonna be just fine for sunday! Im willing to convoy up with whoever fancies it! Need to test out my new brakes, and i need erm .... that stuff that makes the car go.... oh yes! petrol! so hopefully i wont have a relaps or anything! its a crap cold!! hope no one else gets it!

I plan on going to this meet. I have just spoken to Tracy on MSN and she said that you to are meeting at the stadium. If I was to meet you there I would be retracing my steps and wasting fuel.... Although would be fun doing it

So what I thought, if you two (and anybody else from MK/bedford) meets me in Olney we can convoy to the pub. There are two ways for me to get to this pub, country lanes or the main road. Tracy said straight away country lanes, so it looks to be set then.

Perhaps Pete, but there is not much room there out front unless we meet in front of the service place, round back? Or we could meet in the big car park in the centre of Olney - I don't think there is a Farmers Market on, so this might be a better, more convenient place to meet. What time to meet. I have planed the route (A509>turn right at 'Whirly Pit' roundabout>A565 to A428 Lavendon>Harold>Podingtion>Wymington>A6 Rushden>Needle and Awl)

I know exactly where I am going, so no need for sat nav

That should take about 25-30 ish minutes if no holdups and driving at reasonable speed

Does that sound ok.

scooby mad.........theres no need to go through wymington and pod, if you lot meet in centre of olney, just keep driving on and the road eventually brings you to wellingborough, under the a45, u simply turn left parallel to it and come onto it at the following roundabout nr tescos! Juts saying as thats easier, unless you've planned the twisty road way

for those with weak hearts etc that dont wish to follow us on the windy route , please take directions given above for the boring more safer route!!!

lol. I could of got dave (sparkyD) to get me in his uk300 but seeing as ill only sit there like a kid without a subaru which was bad enough when didnt have one, think ill pass plus got two hockey training sessions sunday, was going to miss the morning one but spent an extortionate amount of money on the best ice hockey stick on the market last week so i wanna spend a full day testing it out lol

Do have a good un though guys organise a follow up meet promptly for me!

nah but thought if i got aftermarket front disc and pads would cost me half what the garages quote for standard items would be. Plus just been offered pair of brembo's, pair of tarox discs and pads for £450? good deal ay? If i ring on monday and the garage hasn't fitted their standard items, i may tell them to leave them out, and buy the brembo deal and ask them to fit that instead. They wouldnt get arsey would they? Just a normal MOT garage fitting brembos shouldnt be too hard?
