Project P1 600bhp +
Exe tc feels pretty close to previous P1 set upin terms of comfort, just much more controlled - hard to describe really, but I'm liking it.
I heard that the 1.5 GL you thought you saw made 450 @1.2 on its initial pull
Sounds like a job for Mrs Skullfudge
To adjust them you must close your eyes - and make sure no one is talking to you or near you. Then you will feel the 40 clicks - when you adjust them yr always thinking, was that 19 or 20 damm - start again. Or did I start at zero or 1

450 @ 1.2 nice. It must be the turbinator demo then as nothing else sensible would get close to that.
scary imagining 2 bar...

there is a lot of truth in that Simon
I made the mistake of saying to a friend "hey, feel how easy it is to adjust the suspension", so he stooped under the bonnet and turned the adjuster about 178 clicks and said "oooops", lol, ...bless, he was all worried and pm'd me the next day. I was going to tell him that I wore ONE tyre out driving home

I normally wind down to (1) on all four corners then adjust them to (20).

Nothing really in the immediate area with a big enough car park and we don't do Harvesters round heah, acksherly, anyway old boy
There is something like a Harvester (Dutch House, Mottingham) with a big car park on the A20 Sidcup Road as you come in from the M25 about half a mile before the first roundabout you come to, but it looks hideous and has a bad reputation. I've never been in despite it only being a few miles from my place. I wouldn't want to leave any cars outside and Sy might need to bring his diskcutter...
An alternative non Blackheath suggestion that I once went to many years ago with a crowd of scoobies is near Westerham - come off the M25 at Brands Hatch A20 junction, towards Brands, down the hill to the roundabout, 2nd exit - and then first right about 500yards on - along the Darenth Valley road to Sevenoaks ( very nice road
) through the outskirts of Sevenoaks onto A25 to Westerham, also nice road, through Westerham and then a couple of miles on the right is the Grasshopper pub with a massive carpark

Go to this multimap link and select "Bird's eye view" and you'll get the idea.
Handy for you Clive and anyone else coming from the south (just get off the A21 at Sevenoaks and go west on the A25), and easy to get to for Kent, M25, Blackwall tunnel focussed people ( follow above instructions)?
Anyhoo, just an idea

Good idea Fatboy, that car park is huge and as you mentioned some nice roads around that area John
The Grasshopper is an ideal venue for a meet and a nice place too. Real easy to find.
They have many "womens single nights" there for divorcees, so may prove interesting.
The Grasshopper is also a venue where people with severe learning problems have monthly trips. ......so there is a great chance that Simon may know many in attendance
There is an easier way to The Grasshopper coming from London mate.
Heading South on the M25 carry on past the Bromley / Orpington exit. A few miles past that is the Sevenoaks turn off.
Once you have taken the Sevenoaks exit you will stop at a junction.
Turn left so you will go back over the road you have just come down (over a bridge) and that will take you straight to Westerham & The Grasshopper.

You mentioned you had a trailer Sy?? ..(I'm not sure if you have other transport or not mate), but my vans all have tow bars.If you want me to get one up to you just let me know. No probs.
Failing that I have a towable bowser (1500 Ltrs)

Would be good having you at the meet matey. I have some friends who want to see you car.
If I misunderstood you and you don't own a trailer, I have an account with this company.
Trident Trailers Ltd - Car Trailers for Sales, Hire and Servicing in Kent and Sussex, UK
I hired a car transporter trailer to take my car to RCM 4 months back.
Twin axle, 4 adjustable tyre straps, winch, good ramps etc £ 48.00 +vat
Good sound company.

whereas, as you know, they need to "come off" the M25 / follow the A21 to Sevenoaks to get to the A25.I know lots of ways there as these roads and the whole area are my late night / early morning special stages when I fancy warming the car and tyres through
i usually actually go there though Orpy and then Badger's Mount and down the fast A road inside the M25 that has no space for cameras etc... I have a little loop that I follow, which usually takes in the Shell garage in Sevenoaks for a refill. It's going home for my P1 as I bought from Lancaster 7oaks originally.LOL at the singles night etc - we'll fit right in
That right,Clive, except you have to "leave " the M25 to get to that turning coming south. For those that don't know the area - it can get confusing. I only suggested the Brands turnoff and Darenth Valley road as it's a nice drive, plus last time I sent people straight on south past the Orpy turnoff they followed the M25 signs down the slip road and ended up on the way to Gatwick
