I named my cat Tyson.

If and only if the other half talks me into getting a dog, I shall name it Suzanne after an ex.

And shall kick it at every opportunity.

*That's true apart from the kicking bit

My one of the cats is called Rubix.

Dogwise, three of our few Alsatians were known as Honey, Julie senior, and Julie junior. IMO such names were a bit gentle for them, but it was my sister's choice LOL I named one of the male Alsatian dogs as Tzar

a bitch will be a better family pet god temprament loyal and pretty much do as their told.......the dog on the other hand will be bigger more aggresive and less loyal to the owner and take ages to get him back on the lead and more likely to disapear only for him to turn up hours later.
just my own experience having owned both.bitch everytime for me.
if you want a family pet its a bitch anything other get a dog.

I'm sorry but this is the biggest load of crap i've heard in ages sex of the dog has nothing to do with it!! it's breeding training and mixing them with other dogs and new situations from a very early age.
