No one watches Corrie and Sadenders in my house. I catch an occasional sight of Friends, Fresh Prince and Hollyoaks, as my lass watches them. I pull faces at certain things, give an odd comment, ask my daughter sometimes- "Why is he doing that?" "Who rattled her cage?" " Who got run over?" "What's going on?" etc. etc. without knowing any characters. She gets fed up

I've banned all soaps and anything that includes the word celebrity in the title. ITV is invariably ignored unless football, Tonight or the news is on.
