Thanks Joe just got myself a BJ trailer last week so taking the car up to Johns for the wiring within the next 2 weeks then arrange with Andy for the mapping while its up there.

Oh really, have you looked the chassis number up? As marco58 said, its a 99 V5 with a V3 engine.

That makes sense. It has the wrong seats also which makes me think v4. I'm not putting the car down. As i said its a very nice car.

I have a MY00 v5 type r which was originally sold as a MY00 v6. Thats the problem with classic imports. So many have had parts removed or changed over the years. Also a lot of late registered cars. Checking the seatbelt date is an easy way to check approx year.

Few Photos of my 3 over the years

1st:

K Reg WRX Import. Big Ends went, was broken due to rust. Only half decent photo's ruined by the makeshift alloys. R_I_P K715 TSM







2nd:

White M Reg WRX, Rolling project, Sold due to lack of funds at the time. Was a mint shell with no rust at all. Love to buy it back







3rd:

V Reg WRX STI, 330 BHP Ecutek mapped by JGM. Still got it and dont think ill let her go.

Sorry tried to upload photos won't do it damn just got my baby back from the boys at POLE POSITION and they've done a great job I couldn't be happier a big thanks to shar for the engine rebuild an the graphics the misses is over the moon .

Do you find it also insulates the engine noise from inside the cabin... At least a bit?
