Oh really, have you looked the chassis number up? As marco58 said, its a 99 V5 with a V3 engine.

Thanks marco58. Nice R you have there, loving the yellow!

That makes sense. It has the wrong seats also which makes me think v4. I'm not putting the car down. As i said its a very nice car.

I have a MY00 v5 type r which was originally sold as a MY00 v6. Thats the problem with classic imports. So many have had parts removed or changed over the years. Also a lot of late registered cars. Checking the seatbelt date is an easy way to check approx year.

Johnny.

I've only had mine for a couple of weeks, so it's pretty much standard at the moment:

Few Photos of my 3 over the years

1st:

K Reg WRX Import. Big Ends went, was broken due to rust. Only half decent photo's ruined by the makeshift alloys. R_I_P K715 TSM

2nd:

White M Reg WRX, Rolling project, Sold due to lack of funds at the time. Was a mint shell with no rust at all. Love to buy it back

3rd:

V Reg WRX STI, 330 BHP Ecutek mapped by JGM. Still got it and dont think ill let her go.

Finally got some ST2's.

Could do with a re-furb, but ok for now. Gets driven once a month is she's lucky!

Correct spoiler found, and going on soon too.

That was as soon as it was finished. I've built a work bench and more clutter will be added in time

Cheers.

Do you find it also insulates the engine noise from inside the cabin... At least a bit?

Or no difference, without it?

Couple of pics of my Turbo2000. I've known the car since a couple of days after delivery, owned it once before, sold it back to the original owner and now it's in my ownership again!
