wanna sell my baby

God, you lot are so bitchy, its perhaps a little over the top for us (aging) arbiters of good taste but like has been said, its been done well, it looks well looked after and there are perhaps more young lads after stuff like that than you give it credit for.
What model was it originally ?

I think you definitely need to target an audience.
Your best chance of getting a sale is from someone who likes that kind of styling, so your Max Power boyz/galz etc....its such a specialist car that joe public and dealers are going to run a mile away from it.
Good luck with the sale

Only a young lad would buy it IMO and the fact that banks aint giving many loans out at the minute means you'll struggle to find a buyer at a decent price you'd be happy with.

it was my first car, and was influenced quite a bit by friends and got into the modifying scene. i know i'm not gonna get my money back, but kitting her up was quite a joy at the time.
obviously now i'm more into performance hence i got the scooby
it started life as a black clio 1.2 16v dynamique, always get people asking me what it is lol
it's been advertised for 3.5k which i think is fair considering that it's still a show car

I would think £2k is top whack for a 52 reg 1.2.
Convert the car back to standard and ebay the mods. You will probably make more.

Wiley, Seriously mate, 3.5k is too high, like other people have said think you will struggle to get 1.5k for it. There is only going to be a tiny market for it because of the mods. But good luck anyway

Good mechanical tasteful mods you might get a little fraction of the money back.
Bodywork mods that are non-standard almost certainly reduce the market price.
Looking at this car you have a microscopic market of spotty yoofs who might be vaguely interested but have no money.
For £3500 you can have a Clio Cup of the same age ffs!

Not sure what the story is these days, but I had all on insuring a standard 1.1 fiesta when I passed my test.

For trade it's worth less than £1k if you could find anyone to take it.
Private? Need to find the right buyer but it's a 6 year old 1.2 Clio with mods so I would think around £1500-£1750 if very lucky.
Cheers

I would stick it in the max power, it looks like you have spent time and money on the car so aim for the young new driver who will pay abit more for a car out of the fast and the furious.

Alot of the opinions on here will be older guys that don't have any interest in bodykits etc. Not my cup of tea now, but just after I passed my driving test at 17, I would have loved something like that . The only problem I suppose, would be insurance for someone of that age with all the modifications that have been done. My first car was a £600 R reg clio which was totally standard(except for the alloys I didn't declare ), and it cost £1250 to insure TPFT!!!
