Guys i been chatting a fair bit with Al this week regarding us now using the EKP Rather than BL's , Mainly in the Easterly wind of late , but i feel to be honest that it is an all round better venue anyway .

I myself still feel a little obligated to Al & BL after all the help that he has offered all of us since we started this crazy new hobby , It's just a shame that Al wont go to the EKP .

But i feel the tide may be changing

I Spoke to Al & asked what his problems were , he explained a few things to me , that i then in turn mentioned to Sean & Paul @ the KP , It now seems that we may have ironed out a few of the issues that were there .

I for one do not want to get involved in any power kiting wars that maybe apparent between the two clubs ,i just want to be able to fly wherever the wind is best & most importantly where i feel welcome , both kite parks i must add are very very friendly & accommodating to all of us n00bs

The last correspondence i had from Al was that if the Easterly wind prevails then in the next few days he may well be making a visit to the EKP , Something witch @ the start of the week i did not feel i would say

*** God .. this takes me back to the days in 2001 , when we had the sidc & the ffic , both run separately & all with the same interest @ heart , now we are all just one happy family

We all want to push the sport further and as one unit it will only benefit everyone

 

 

Really looking forward to my lessons looks like u guys have a great laugh I haven't touched a kite since I was about 19, and that was a 7ft 2 string sports kite, nothing like this?
