Cheers mate.

It wasn't our mess to clear up, but glad we helped you get to the bottom of it.

Just to make it clear to the others, we have done nothing wrong and have not supplied any of the parts in question.

You can see why the other traders didn't get involved. Lesson learnt.

If ever you need anything further feel free to PM as usual

Agreed. If Bob is looking out for anyone here, then it is Bob.

Sorry if I have missed something (I have an AP Clutch)......but isn't the problem due to "Justclutches" getting clutches straight from Japan and selling them cheap as he can sidestep VAR's like Exedy UK / API / BOB's ??

Looks like BOB5 did us a favour by blowing the whistle on the ebay clutchs. If he didnt then we would never know. Just Clutchs seem 2 have a lot 2 answer 2 but are staying very quiet?!?

Have dealt with BOB5 in the past and his advice is always spot on. Will continue to make him my 1st port of call for scooby parts.

Just to clarify this is the information exedy uk have on the fd08h-1 . I spoke to steve of exedy who is the sales guy as tako the technical expert was busy .Right the fd08h-1 is a bespoke item that is not currentley sold by exedy uk , usa , japan in fact any exedy company !!! All that they know is it was made for a european customer with unknown power rating and what it actually is ! . The part number with the 1 on the end is usually reserved for there carbon coated range so steve was abit confused to say the least . The main reason why no one has heard of this friction plate is it shouldnt be sold as its not ment for generall sale . So how justclutches got it i don't know .But never the less if you go to a customer and ask for somthing that will take 400 bhp and they provide you with an fd08h-1 how do they know what power it will take when the people who make it don't evan know them selfs ??? . Just clutches have offered to swap my fd08h-1 for a 6 spring fd08h so there customer servis is spot on i havent evan made my concerns clear to them but they have offered a swap off there own back so i can't complain .You can make your own judgment on companies that got involved weather to help or hinder .hope this clear the issue up .

So you can get the fd08h-1 or the fd08h (which everybody else sells) from Just Clutches for the same price, both are up rated but the power rating of the -1 is unknown at the moment.
Can understand why Bob may have thought it was an incorrect item if Exedy UK dont know much about it but in this case was wrong.
Any way Bob if you can match Just Clutches price inc postage people can order from you or Just Clutches and make there own mind up

Glad we got to the bottom of it thanks M535I
