tunnel run#
At the moment there are 145 subaru's going on the tunnel run , Basicly we drive down to Essex got through the dartford tunnel then through a couple others meet up at a mcdonalds have a chat the reverse the course and meet back where we started .. This is not for the faint hearted 
, there aare some really loud cars that make a hell of a noise through the tunnels and then there are flames ... oh yeah the flames ...meeting place is J15a services between 4 - and leave at 5pm ish , or when the brummies arrive lol . hopefully see you there . WAZ ( midland tunnel run organiser )

Am going to be at the Dyno Run over at Zen most of the day, but will pop over for a chat and a possible swift half and give my ears a rest.
Any of you guys/gals up for the Tunnel Run ? If you don't know what it is then this is a good chance to find out and have a flipping good laugh

So this tunnel run is meeting at j15a i'm presuming thats on the M1 and will be the southbound services?
Hell i'm well up for that , sounds like i a right laugh!
Anyone heading to that after the northants meet?

Well i wont F***** be there now! 
took the car for its MOT this morning, all ok apart from wiper blades and discs for the front end, and pads alround, looking at over four hundred quid in total, which i thought was ok and told them to get on with it. Then they ring and say parts arent coming til four, so i say well get on with taking the parts off ready. Then though as the callipers look like sti ones i better ask original owner and yes they are sti ones, lol so i rings back and tells them to order sti pads instead. All's ok, then half four comes and they've rung back saying after taking rear ones off they found the abs spring or something which they weren't aware about and that its corroded and need another one from subaru which wont get here til tuesday morning! got so annoyed, not at the fact that its costing money, but that i wont have my car til next weeK!!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone know about these springs and if you reckon Zenn would have them in stock? As i could just nip down there and buy some and drop em off at mot garage

try slip end garage near luton ,i know its a fair way but they seem to have good stock of parts mate ,they was the only place that had a maf sensor for my classic when i needed one fast ,so might be worth a try i would also have said scoobyparts at oakley but they are shut till monday for some reason

I dont even know of any subaru dealers local!
Think theres an official subaru garage in stratton near northampton but wether they have any in stock i dont know

Ash, the dealer in Spratton is Westaways on 01604 846245 and as far as I know they are open Sats.
Souls in Olney might be worth a try but, but I have found in the past that they don't carry the same amount of stock as Westaways.
Both of these are very helpful anyway.
