Those yellow lines look to thin to be council ones anyway, they look like ones done by someone privately.
If it isn't from a warden ignore it and let them chase you.

The ticket wasn't for parking on yellow lines as previously thought, it look to be for parking on private property?

whose private property?
was it a council warden?
i thought road laws were different on private property
you could always ask the owner if they minded you parking on their property

Easy if you know who owns the land, as far as I know it wasn't private, as there were/are no signs telling me so.

What will I be using the chisel for, it had nothing to do with the yellow lines.
I might put in the back of the blokes head that wrote the ticket out.
