i live in Inverness, but work away most of the week. Drive a A8 as my day time car and the Scooby on the SRC. sometimes flash Scoobies and get some weird looks back, then i remember i'm in the Audi
so if you live in the area, drive a Scooby and have ever been flashed by a silver Audi it was probably me

I'm originally from way up north - Gairloch to be precise. I've lived in Aberdeen for 9 years on and off now though. If i see any of you fellow highlanders out and about i'll give you a wave and maybe an indicator or 2
I can certainly vouch for the roads up north, they are something else. Especially the single track roads at night!

Hey Lewy, I lived in Laide for nearly 10 years until I moved to the Sneck about 4 or 5 years ago. I never went to school up here though. There's a very good chance you've seen me about up there. I used to run a blue Renault 19 16v, then a red MX6.

Hey Lewy, I lived in Laide for nearly 10 years until I moved to the Sneck about 4 or 5 years ago. I never went to school up here though. There's a very good chance you've seen me about up there. I used to run a blue Renault 19 16v, then a red MX6.

come to think of it would you have been kicking around the thurso area around about the 1998 99 year i was running a renault 19 white with silver tints all round and a large pionere sticker on back window. coppers loved it

Na man, Laide near Gairloch. The roads that direction haven't been as good for the last few years. They're all sinking into the peat and if you go too fast you just get bounced off the road!!

Yeh its a beaut, the cops like it too though. I know the bit you mean, just after the cattle grid at the top of the hill. It was resurfaced further on a few years ago but you'd never know it!

My parents still live in Laide and I was about 22 or 23 when I had the Renault 19 which was 9 years ago. It was dark blue and before that I had a white R5 turbo which you may have also seen. My name is Jonathan Davis but you might have known my brother Tim who went to the high school in Gairloch. he's 4 years younger that me.

Certainly is a small world eh! He's doin fine ma man, working for the P&J as a graphic designer. He says to say hello and that the clapped out banger is no more! It got crashed one too many times . He has a scoob now too, a sport wagon. Gone up in the world!

Glad to hear it, I'll give you a flash if I spot you on the road. I like what you've done with your WRX, shouldnt get it confused with the others! I'm heading over to the west on Sat. Wont be in the impreza though, running around in my red X plate Golf V6 4Motion for now. Its a cracking car but its slower (much) and thirstier than the impreza!!
