My taste:

Black leather/silver striped Adidas Porsche design, Brown suede Adidas Gazelle with beige stripe, Black Puma speedcat. All for wearing with jeans, all quite smart and understated.

When it comes to white, I've always liked Cortez (Nike) as I find Stan Smiths too flat. Have 2 pairs of Cortez (exactly the same)

Quite like some k-swiss (plain-ish ones with stripes) and I love Evisu for going out down the pub. Cool, slabby sole.

Favourites though are 1984 Re-issue Adidas LA white/white stripes, white sole and white pins in the heels, never seen another pair! Bought from a sports shop in Rimini in Italy in 2002, I wear them on Xmas day every year and my birthday!

I'm a sneaker pimp, and currently own 36 pairs after doing a clearout earlier this year!

I find those "Clfford James" fuzzy zip up boots are very good value and also comfortable.

Don't tell Clarkson though!

I usually like Nike ones but couldnt find any that didnt make look a tennis player.
So I got some Clarks gore tex ones which I actually find extremely comfortable and look a little less like trainers.

I find that Clifford James slip ons are comfortable, smart, last a long time, and are very reasonably priced.

Guys, its a two year old thread bumped up by a spammer

Anyhoo; I wear whatever is under €40 at the Nike factory outlet that has the arch support in the right place, isn't white or like a cross between Joseph's technicolour dreamcoat and liveried race car.

Nike, usually do the same as Ali and buy cheaper at the Nike outlet/anything in the sale. No point spending a fortune for what I do in trainers.

I go for black with a bit pink thrown on.
