I'm a Wrexham boy, spent many a weekend over in Porthmadog, used to be dry on a Sunday!

Some great pics guys, for good B roads almost anywhere to the north and east of Snowdon seemed pretty good, especially near the mountain itself.
Try going to see some of the castles in the north too, not only some good drives up to them but they castles themselves are worth a look, a few pics

North Wales the absolute perfect place...in my view.

The roads are ace & it's best to try them out after dark to avoid plod & horses along tyhe more narrower roads...certainly a good test for ones nerve....

When ever i'm at the Aberdunnant park I always pop down to Criccieth seafront for a coffee at the cafe at the Porthmadoc end.

I did know the original operators of the cafe but they left for Spain...the cafe is all slightly upper class now & the coffee is crass....

If I won the lottery i'de buy that place and turn it into a Bistro and have moornings out to see and attract the posh from Abersoch.....

I love the place & will live there one day.....

I'll be down that way soon in my RA....look out for me.....

Maybe a venue for a mini meet in the future.....

I was up in Wales a week ago too, with a malamute group. Snowdon is always a beautiful place to drive around, and even nicer to walk up.

Just a pain when there is a howling storm half way up lol

Lovely pics mate

Betws y coed is lovely too
