Sorry Bren but I cant see any connection with my request and your mistake! I did not mentioned about the taxes that i paid to the customs. Its my problem. BUT If international shipments are large mainstay of your business you should know how to prepare an international package and know what type of documents you should include into the package for a LEGAL movement. Certificate of origin and certificate of A.TR movement document were not included into package and the package didnt cleared the customs. I paid lots of extra and punishments for that. But i didnt talked about that in here.

Thats why I just wanted Personal Use Only - Not For Resale D.D.U. invoice from you.

btw, compulsory i have already installed them .

Hi Bren,

Did the ship dock on the 9th Sept as planned?

Have you taken delivery of the consignment yet?

If so, when do you expect to get these kits shipped out?

Sorry for all the questions - I just can't wait to get these brakes on my car ;-)

Cheers

We can do them for the Golf but not at the GB price, just retail.

The ship has landed, we are just finalising the paperwork and arranging delivery to us

Do you by any chance have 356mm/fronts and 330mm/rears for a P1 ?
What would it all cost ?

Same question as above, would be looking for 356mm/fronts and 330mm/rears for a P1. Are there anymore left?

Also, would they fit under my standard P1 18" wheels and what colour would they be?

I was planning on keeping the standard ones and upgrading to Alcon's to keep the branding consistent but......I need better brakes, and Prodrive Alcons cost a fortune!!

Cheers,
Chris

Yeah we still have some. The calipers are black. The standard P1 rims have plenty of clearance but Im not 100% that the 356mm will fit. Im sure someone must have fitted them but I cant think of any specific customer off the top of my head

Cool, if anyone on here has 356 fitted to a P1 under the 18" Wheels please let me know

I'll post a quick note on P1woc to see if any of them have done so

If not, what would you suggest would be the best set up for the fronts?

356mm should go under the 18" P1 alloys no worries.

I know there are at least a couple of guys on P1WOC that have this kit.

Theyre in the UK, we are just waiting for the Bill of Lading to come through from KSport. This is the documentation that releases official ownership of the goods to ourselves then they can be delvered to us from the docks. Nearly sorted now

Hi Bren, one last question before I call and order. A stupid one but I better ask.........

I am looking to go for the 356mm (8pot) front set & 330mm (6pot) rears.

These should fit under my P1 18" wheels but I also have a set of the 17" P1 wheels which I may use for a trip to Nurburgring as they have better tyres on them. Can I also buy a spare set of K-Sport 330mm Discs + Pads which can just be switched over in the 8pots to fit the 17" wheels on?

What will be the cost of the additional 330mm pads/discs if this is possible?

Cheers,
Chris

Youd need 330mm rotors, bells and brackets. The individual components arent particularly cheap, the brackets, bells, rotors, bracket to hub mounting bolts and bell to rotor mounting kit comes in at £638. I can do the parts for £549 and will throw in an extra set of Sport pads if thats of help

Im just going to break a kit for you do save you some money rather than orderign the parts from the factory as it works out cheaper.

Is it a pretty simple switch over?

I would maybe be better off to order a seperate 330mm 6-pot set up then @ £684? (atleast then I will have spare to throw on my track Impreza...once I stop spending money on this one........lol)

What are the final prices of all this?

Comparison:
356mm F + 330mm R + 330mm F

&

356mm F + 330mm R + above kit to fit 330mm to front

Cheers,
Chris

It would be a 330mm 8 pot, not 6. 6 pots are used with the smaller 286mm and 304mm front kits

Comparison:

356mm F £799 + 330mm R £701.25 + 330mm F £684 + £17.63 carriage = £2201.88

&

356mm F £799 + 330mm R £701.25 + above kit to fit 330mm to front £549 + carriage £17.63 = £2066.88

Right,

After all of this I'm going to have to just go for the 356mm + 330mm front & rear just now and worry about my 17's later.

Am waiting on delivery of a new car from Japan so better keep some money to the side for when it arrives! (or the Mrs will kill me....!!)

I'll check back in a few weeks to see if there are any 330mm front kits still up for grabs!

Away to call to order, do you know when delivery will be? I'll probs ask on the phone anyway........

Cheers for the help- much appreciated!

Hi Bren,

Are these kits still at the docks?

I'm trying to plan when I can get out on track and want to have this kit fitted and bedded in beforehand.

Just given them a call and apparently they're sat with customs awaiting clearance which could take any length of time.
