It's still faulted though, Webby.
I tried to search for a thread by AndyF using advanced search option and got this;
I personally don't think this is acceptable. I understand, that there will be teething problems, but, surely this shouldn't happen.
FYI Search Username - AndyF
Show Threads Started By.
Hope this is of some use to sort any glitches.

Still don't work if you put something in the arrowed bit below.
It may just be me, but it's the same everytime, with both usernames.

I dont want to subscribe to threads though. I want to search from time to time to see if people have posted on threads that I have already posted on and then decide which interest me: as opposed to actively subscribing to each individual thread.....

ffs man u don't have to do anything, it's automatic, read what Webby posted on page1. When u have it set, u simply goto quick links/subscribed threads, and any thread u've posted in is listed and updated when read! You don't even have to type your nick in like u used to have to do with the old search.

I know that I started the thread, but I havent read most of it. I replied to Simon by PM and left it there.
I'll try what youve suggested, although Id sooner that search hadnt been altered, as it is in no way an improvement in my opinion.

How can having the exact same features in the old search BUT without having to type your nick into the search box be worse!! That is an improvement in my book. Why don't you actually try it before passing judgement
As Webby has mentioned the overall search had to be updated, as other normal types of search weren't working. Yes it isn't an improvement overall, but when searching by ID it is actually slightly better when using the subscribed threads feature.
