I think he was a little disappointed someone from down south had basically tried playing the hard man with the "I don't wanna come knocking on your door routine" though.

When you pay for something, your all right, you want it asap in reality, but I think its things thats out of his hands that have caused the delay, it wouldn't hurt to be told IMO, but Scott can be like that, still great stuff and a top bloke though.

Thats fine and we all have problems but it would take 2 minutes to come on here and make a statement so that people know there are supply problems, that would put people's minds at rest and it would probably not be an issue then. It also does not explain whay he has not refunded me for the dampers I have returned. I have tried phonong without success and also left an email via his site. I now have no option but to contact my credit card company and ask them to get the money back. I personally will never use him again and would not recommend him to anyone, the fact that I will have to seek a refund from my credit card says enough to me. Perhaps Scott Lowe should look to Bren at Apex, Bob, Ian Godney, Mark at Lateral Performance and Alyn at ASP to see how they conduct their business via these forums he may learn something.

Wolfie, I also am a bit surprised you feel the way you do. I dont think anyone has said anything negative about you. From my point of view you put a large amount of time and effort into organising a good group buy, thanks You have also been let down the same as the rest of us so you shouldnt take any negative comments personally as I dont think anyone can blame you for this.

Arch, im afraid I cannot disagree with anything you have said, tbh I hoped me having a word with Scott would have spurred him into action, but maybe not.

Spoken to Scott today and it looks like the dampers are in and being packed up and sent out tomorrow
In fairness to Scott when I phoned him about the offer he did tell me they would take a few weeks and the money was not taken until he had the stock in his hands so I'm happy I can understand the frustration of some but I was never in any rush and did not mind waiting as it was a good deal.

Just hope they come by the weekend cant wait to get them fitted

I took part in the original group buy on these a couple of years ago. All went well, except that one strut started to rust. I am still (more than 2 years later) waiting for the third replacement strut (neither of the first two arrived) and of course they are both now rusty

i got mine weeks ago but this has been a joke
the organiser of group buy is not at fault but this was started in aug closing on 5th sept and people still dont have them
i think scott needs to sharpen up his act as this kind of wait for parts with no info is just plain rubbish

Mine arrived this morning so hopefully everyone's will follow suit.

Also, without reading through the whole thread again(sorry),are these secure and does the bonnet 'drop' shut from low down like you're supposed to do when shutting it?

They seem quite stiff that's all.

I can understand your frustration, I can only suggest that you keep trying the mobile.
I have spoken to Scott a few times and I dont think he is trying to rip anyone off, just a little odd that you have not had yours as yet.

Good luck.
