have just left a third message via the website and made a 2nd call
no reply from website and no answer on landline at all and no return call via the mobile
have no given them until tommorow to at least reply with some information or i will be cancelling my order and contacting credit card co for a refund
now i know why people didnt want to leave credit card orders with no info on shipping dates etc
if he didnt have these in stock then he should have said up front and at the very least replied to enquiry about shipping etc

No matey. Just call Scott to order on his landline or mobile, however he seems hard to get hold of as of late . Group buy ends this Friday (5th Sep)

I've been trying to find this out Arch as I ordered quite a few weeks ago . I don't know as yet because I've not been able to get an answer when phoned . I've sent an e-mail to Scott awaiting reply.

Well guys mine arrived today and they are pretty good quality and easy to fit. Unfortunately mine will be heading back tomorrow for a refund.
When I asked the question about use with an alloy light weight bonnet I was told the only issue was the need to be carefull tightening the bolts when fitting, but I can assure you that is not an issue. What is an issue is the fact that the dampers are far to stiff for an alloy bonnet I think I would have folded my bonnet in half if I had shut it all the way. I started to close it but the force required was far to much and the bonnet would never with stand it.

So to summarise anyone who has purchased these for an alloy bonnet In my opinion these are not suitable. For normal bonnets they will be excellent.

arch to be honest the damper will probably give in time..mine is firm but once the initial nudge to close is over they just glide down..the damper is strong so hold on tight when u raise the bonet
arch why not send them on to someone who is waiting they can canx their ordder with scott as supply seems to be a prob..the teins will prob be ok i used them on a carbon bonnet

I've got a set from CDF Racing for a newage if anyone wants them. Never got round to fitting them so may as well go. they are the Redline ones. smart bit of kit. £50 for those who missed out on this.
