I'd love to compare an MD321T to my GT30R. I've heard nothing but praise for the MD321T and T+ It would be interesting to compare the two

do you mean a T+ would be a better recommendation or that my graph is for a T+? as it is a straight T

Any ideas for the best Turbo for the road/slight track day use for 400bhp ?? got a TD05 18g at mo and the power really drops off after 5500rpm ish.Does anyone have a 20g on their 2.5? Would this Turbo boost right up to red line at 7k?
A good TD05-06 20G will do that quite easily for not a lot of money or speak to Jase for a cost effective solution (Area 52/Scoobymania) ST420. Very Imprezzive turbo and spools well.
321 T does well on a 2.5 but is more money and capable of more power.

Sorry to stray off course here lads,

But looking at this thread it looks as though most of you guys have already gone own the route that I'm following!!

After a quick bit of advice....

Had my MD321T fitted last year on my Sti 8, and have now finally got the dough to fit a 2.5 shortblock (always intended to do this hence 321T and not H) but I am not sure what thickness the head gaskets should be!!

I am also fitting some forged CP Pistons and Eagle rods and hopefully the correct sized Comitec head gaskets!

Thanks for any help.

Dave.

Throw a spanner in the works.

Iv got an APS SR40 fitted which run 409 at 1.4bar with 420 ft torque.
spool up is very good with not much lag.

I know these turbos have had a bit of a beating but for me it has worked well.

The engine is a 2.5 APS conversion forged.
