This simple fact shows you how good Liverpool actually are. No matter how much you support them and how many goals they put past the likes of Derby County, if they cannot beat the top 3 clubs in the land, then they can only really hope for 4th place again.
and there's me thinking john motson was retiring.....

excellent analysis, thats why capello tried to talk him out of retirement. stick to the day job.

Default turbo2 & sti wanna subaru

its painful but i think your both correct.
If the mancs lose crying ronaldo, they will be weakened considerably.
chelsea have an excellent manager who doesn't know the league.
he has confirmed that he will encourage his players to dive.
so back to drogba or drogbar as that tw@t motson calls him, having the lowest pain threshold in the northern hemisphere!
Arsene will be himself moaning and not seeing his players doing bad stuff. slating other players for a little mis-timed challenge.
lastly Benitez who no one can second guess not even russell grant,
who will he pick, crap players who aren't of good enough quality to wear the shirt. pennant, voronin, kuyt(who's effort cannot be knocked) and babel( who does show signs of brilliance then total sh1te in the same second).
Quality is the name of the game and in Benitez Liverpool do not possess it.

Yes because he can still do a job for 8 or 9 months. I'll bring this thread back up next season as I did the Ronaldo ones Le Tallec... where's he now?

He may be your cast off, but I bet if he was french, he'd still be playing for you...

Paying a little more for a proven premiership player is worth it, even if he's a former scummer

20 mill isnt too bad when ****y city paid 19 mill for an unproven striker (who in all honesty not many have heard off!)

I actually have a feeling Rafa is going to play Keane on the right as he keeps mentioning it

Default New Season

i'm nearly 38 now, so the new season isn't as appealing the older i get.
The longer the quest continues, the less optimistic i become.
i would be happy to see JP exit along with HHH( voro no,skill,or ability).
As for Babel, i am hopeful for him, he did show some signs of a good player in the making.
Liverpool need to give bloody noses to Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal just to show them we mean business.
i think i posted on here at the the time but well done to Man U in winning the league and the CL, they did it playing sensational football in my book.
As for Chelsea unlucky, JT stop your crying you big girls blouse.
its only a game.

I'm sure Liverpool have never beaten Arsenal, Chelsea or Man Utd in the league since Rafa took over

Crouch scored a hat trick (left foot, right foot and head) when we beat the Gooners 4-1 at Anfield After they drubbed us the week before in the cup

Chelsea we've beaten in the league too. The Mancs we beat in the FA Cup, when Smithy busted his leg. But we'll gloss over the Prem head to heads
