good for you mate. im also 19 and have a 99 uk turbo


think first thing you need is a new set of alloys, and then perhaps some colour coding.

pretty sure Hoskib is correct and its a MY98...a quick pic of the engine will confirm as it will be phase 2 if its a MY99 and phase 1.5 if its a MY98...easy to spot the difference.

Very nice car for someone so young, enjoy it and take your time getting used to it

£2200 thats really cheap..i bought my sti when i was 18 and last year i payed £3600...im now 19 (nearly 20) with 2 years no claims...and my renewal came through at £4000....so i have shopped around and managed to get a decent quote of £2300 with adrian flux!!how come yours is so cheap?

not sure mate, that was just the renewal quote they gave me...that was without telling them it has a alarm and imboliser and a tracker too..

Yours is an STI = more to insure than a uk turbo, it also goes off where you live etc

yeah i am insured mate, 1 year NCB with NFU for £2200 but its worth every penny!!

my insurance is £700 im 22 on an import WRX lots of people said i would not be able to get insurance on it but it was fine.
