nearly there. boy this is gonna be a giggle!!!

i have a question, what do i need to do to take my car abroad? have checked insurance and i'm covered there. Is there anything else i need to sort out???

I Normally get Either RAC Or AA Cover just for the time in France , Also shove a warning triangle in the boot , A Hi viz jacket , Spare set of bulbs , Your V5 Document , Take a copy of your insurance with you as well mate , just in casey & a copy of your current MOT Cert

just sorted RAC cover. She did say about the high viz and warning triangle, although she did say it's not a legal requirement for spare bulbs, but might get some anyway.

Thanks for the heads up on the documents, dont think i would have even thought about any of them!! lol

are we there yet!!!

According to Halfords:

Compulsory is Hi Viz jacket, spare bulbs, headlamp converter, GB sticker or GB Euroflag number plate & warning triangle.

Recommended is fire extinguisher & first aid kit.

quiet funny, was moving the cars around sunday after washing them and a couple of kids were playing football down the road. parked the scoob at the front of the house so i could wash the fezza in the back, and they came running up to me...."excuse me mate, how does your car have fire out the back"......

my old classic used to spit flames without a flammer kit and looked what happened there!!!!!! lol
