From: It's not a Scoob, or even a Skoda, but 200bhp is on the horizon..
Depending on why you went to the show, the pleasure you get out of it will vary…. Compared to two years ago, this show as WAY better, with much, much more to see than before……..
I already knew that quite a few manufacturers would not be there, but that’s something that has always happened in the British shows for as long as I can remember, so I went to look, enjoy and have a day out without expecting too much.
As it was, I thought it was OK – I saw more exotic cars under one roof than I have anywhere else in the UK and whilst some of the crowds were pig ignorant, I just waited till they buggered of to annoy someone else then took my photos and chatted to the salesmen when I could.
I got free tickets as well, and I would have baulked at paying the original entry price, but when the offer of a freebie came up, I took it and I’m glad that I did.
Shows like this are not everyone’s cup of tea, but I like cars, so I was happy at the end of the day…..
Now for those who haven’t had the chance to go – here are just a few of the Subaru pictures I took….
The Legacy Diesel – apparently I was the first to take a picture of the rear with the badge – It’s a milestone in Subaru’s history, an important one, so worthy of a picture I thought.

The STI 380…….

First time I got to see the new scoob in the flesh... not as bad as in pics... the rear is still horrible though.
Quite liked the look of the WRX-S... looked better than the sti for some reason
So what was everyone's favourite?
The Brabus C-Class looked like a monster...as did the GTR
Loved the Koeniggsegg CCR.
Did anyone see the black iced out scooby?

was slightly disappointed with it last night. very small show. roll on when it's back at the nec. it was ok for a fiver, even better if you got in free but £15 would have been a huge rip off imo.
i have to say even if i have the money there's no way that i'd be ordering the new hatchback impreza. just looks too cheap from the outside imo. it looks too much like many other cars. very disappointed. although the interior is rather nice.
loved the megane r26 r though. even ordered a brochure
but that might not have had much to do with the car

I've got a couple of free tickets which I intend to use on Sunday. However, after reading a few comments on here don't know if I'll bother. I live approx 50-60 North of London and either have to train it down to Euston then tube, DLR etc or drive to a relation in NW2 and then bus, tube and DLR to Excel which says about 1.5 hours after getting to NW2.
Is any alternative options about as Excel is the other side of London and a pain to get to.

I was slightly disappointed too, was okay and just about worth the £5 but I would not have paid more to get in I don't think!
It did have lovely bodywork and a looked great, I would have loved a ride
The car was not bad either
