ESC CONVOY TO THE MCRAE GATHERING SUNDAY 31 AUGUST.
Good to see everyone today....
Nice to see all the Subaru's in one place for a good reason... Will probably never happen again.
Loved Kelly's comment of the day "you seen one Subaru, you've seen em all!" lol
Sat in the traffic and the kids were playing up so we decided to cut our losses .....
Hope the rest of the day went well?

Moving memorial to McRae - The Scotsman
Great (be it a long) day, nice too see so many showing their respect for the man and his son.
Some great tributes on the cars.

Looks like some of you got home well before I did! Sat on the M25 for ages in 2 places and then had to drop my mate back at Thurrock, didn't get in until 11.40. I'm knackered but it was well worth it
BTW that was me who followed you home most of the way Mr and Mrs Spec'C' 57!

Although it appears i beat some of you home, getting in around 9:30.
car was running like a bag of sh*t by the end of the day
still was great to be part of it all....
what was the official count in the end?

Cracking day....
Yep, sat in traffic for most of it, but driving under the bridges with people above us, waving really brought the sense of occasion home for me!!!
The raffle was fookin hilarious !!!
"Sold to the man who's dressed like he should be going to a disco!"
hahahha

Well done ESC for adding a splash of pink to the proceedings!!

A long and drawn out day, but well worth it, and I'm very proud to have taken part.
Most memorable bit for me is sitting in the middle of a 10 lane scooby jam on the runway, stood on the door cill and looked around at the awesome sight.
Will get my pics up shortly.
Oh, and all hail the Garmin sat-nav with traffic avoidance
. I think I was last of us lot, out of the gates, but back home at 9:30.

It was nice to meet some of you yesterday, I was in the silver Forester that tagged along with the Harlow group.
The convoy to Prodrive was great, the traffic jam to Warwick, not so great!!! Still an amazing day and a fitting tribute.

Excellent day!
I got home around 9ish but I think thats because I was near the front so got out of Prodrive before it started to really queue!
M25 was poor and the rain was awful! car didn't like the rain!

Fantastic day, serious amount of money raised, A Job well done.
Highlights included:
random sheep, cow and donkey noises over the radios to add light amusement when stuck in the car park trying to get to Warwick. Who started that?
the look on commuters faces overtaking us on the M40. The "what on earth!?!" look.
The auctioneer's descriptions of people bidding.
The amazing spectacle of over 1,000 scoobies in one place. I had no idea what it would look like, and was quite humbling really.
Being an official Guiness World Record holder!

Really had a great time & pleased to be part of a great subaru family ..
I Thought the organisation was spot on , Ok a few hic ups .. Lack of signage M40 To Prodrive , No marshalling 8 Lanes of traffic into 1 @ the end
But these problems were only brought on by the amount of us who turned up .
Still as always the positives outnumbered the negatives so a good day indeed
1. Colins car leaving Prodrive
2. Tissy's drive through ,
By loads of ESC Members in Pink
3. The People on the overhead gantrys in the pi$$ing down rain cheering us on
4. With 1000+ Scoobs in attendance , Our car being classed as one of the 20 ""special cars"" to be on display whilst @ warwick
Just need to catch up on a few more
