Stuart it's 115 mile from Thurrock to Banbury & we are allowing a generous 2 hours in case it's a bit bunged up at Prodrive.

Do you have kids or a pregnant wife or an old man (like me ) that will need a comfort break?

There are services ( Shell ) at Oxford M40 J8 which are about 85 miles from Thurrock.

Stickers sales will be removed from the shop on that day. If they don't have your order by then, you will not be able to get a sticker in advance and risk being denied participation in the event.

Note that if paying by cheque you MUST have this in the post to them, first class, no later than TUESDAY 12TH AUGUST. All cheques must be with them by the 14TH - no exceptions. They will remove the payment by cheque option from the Shop on the 12TH.

Added name to list, my car will be shy though

Some a-holes have damaged and creased my a-piller between window and wing mirror with a nice screw driver dent where they've tried to break in possibly through the wing mirror? this was a while back and no-one seems to be able to fix this without filing and spraying or spot welding.

Anyway, i've now had someone try and break in through the rear drivers side door handle by the looks of it, by screwdriver? wedging it in at the top and dent the door above the handle.

Will try and get these fixed beforehand. Semi-gutted. It's not nice but on both occasions the alarm has scared off whoever I guess as both attempts have been when in carparks away from home and me not around.

I say semi-gutted as I still have the car, others reading recent threads have been far less fortunate than me and i'm sure if my car did get stolen i'd either never see it again or it would return in far worse state than just a dent.

That's it folks, after three solid months of sales of stickers to take part in the Colin McRae Gathering, sales closed tonight.

Please do not email looking for stickers as they're not taking any further orders. Their focus now is to clear the backlog and get the stickers out to those who ordered and are still waiting.

You can still order shirts (not that they'll let you take part in the event, but they're nice shirts anyway!) from the online shop and will be able to until the end of August. After that, they're gone too - never to be repeated.

If shirts are ordered now there is NO guarantee of delivery in time for the event.

I got my sticker a few weeks back

I ordered a shirt on the 13th so guess that'll be a touch and go on whether it arrives on time although with backlogs etc, I suspect I missed the boat by being to late. Still it'll be a nice memory shirt of the days event regardless of when it arrives.

What time do you think you'll be at the A10 / M25 junction? We might meet up with you there?

We recon on 5 - 10 minutes from the A12 ( M25 J28 ) to M11 ( M25 J27 ) which is 8 miles. So from M11 ( M25 J27 ) to A10 ( M25 J25 ) should be about the same.
