I'd nearly forgotten how much fun track days are until yesterday
Shame my brakes where knackered after my first sesion Ended up with me turning the front mount into a mower at one point
Still at least the Tyres Northampton boys had something for me to get the rears working again when I found out the new Box of DS2000 I'd brought along contained my worn out old Mintex's I don't think that the EBC Balckstuff pads will last that long though...especially not with my bedding in proceedure
My front disks are now so warped that braking at speeds over 20mph results in the rear view mirror falling off...how hum off to Hi-Spec for some more then
Still at least I discovered that I can light my slicks up on the exit of every second gear corner
Hopefully my passengers enjoyed themselves, sorry to those I couldn't take out because of the braking issues...and fuel issues at the end of the day!
The bug is back... Stronger brakes next time

Thanks to all for making this a great day, I WILL be out at the next beford trackday, the brakes need some serious abuse, sorry, testing
Tim, no worried about the lack of a lap or two, I know you were as gutted as i was when you looked at the fuel level. Suffice to say I'll take you out and scare you when (if? ) I get on track.
Cheers to all who I chatted to. Sorry to all those who I led down the wrong road, hey, I told you I had no idea where I was going We got there in the end though.
Great to put faces to names!
Oh, and Iain and Maffa, thanks for reminding me about the reg plates! could have been an interesting journey home otherwise!
