Nice one Tim, see you there.....

Mellow, is that offer still open to Kostas aka Scooby370Beast? Perhaps you should *really* try and persuade him to come to help fill the numbers

Red face

Found a noisey meter at work today, so at about 6 after most of the office had left one of my mate's in R&D went for a play...oh dear...

My car is fitted with an HKS Hiper muffler exhaust, Scoobysport Downpipe and HKS exhaust manifold...

At 4500rp 0.5m from the exhaust it meassured 93db peak...well within the 101 db limit

Then we went to check the drive by at max acceleration 20m from the car...108db

Looks like I'll be needing that bung then

DocJock:
You are a star! It's a big, complicated old circuit, innit? Also, I didn't realise it's a LH circuit. (Good for tyre wear.)

Now if anyone can tell me how us postal voters can confirm our booking, and get hold of sign-in times etc, my life will be complete

What is this "bung" then? And where do you get one?

To all that are going Saturday.

I spoke to Stef this morning, apparently we need to be there by about 8a.m.

If those that are travelling up from Essex are still meeting at South Mimms @ 7a.m., is this early enough?

Also is there anyone meeting before South Mimms?

The 'Bung' is effectively an additional baffle that sits in the tail pipe of the Hiper Muffler back box, I'll post up a pic later if I can A) get the camera charged and B) find somewhere to host it

Editied to add the picture as promised!

I've just checked the tread on my tyres and I'm down to 2mm at the back & 3mm at the front. Fine for the track, but getting home afterwards might be more difficult....

I've e-mailed Mark at TN but as I'm almost certainly too late, does anyone know of anywhere near Bedford that does decent tyres at good prices (205/50/16, Toyos or F1)???

Jon

PS I know I'm a plonker for not checking earlier!

Spectators can turn up anytime and are allowed in the pit lane.
Well they were last time anyway.

I've just (in the last hour ) decided to come along and watch!!

Hoping to get a couple of passenger rides - especially as it's my first visit to a track day!

Question

Will a 14 year old be allowed to come long to watch if they can't be a passenger ?
