There is a shop in Stuttgart I frequent which sells rather large maglights, police asps, extendable batons, handcuffs, CS gas, replica guns, Swords, knives, crossbows, 9mm blank fire cartridges with CS gas in, flares etc and it is ALL legal here

So if anyone wants anything interesting then just let me know

Ive usually got a decent selection of golf clubs in the boot most days. That shouldnt arouse too much suspicion if inspected. I'd probably opt for a 7 or 8 iron as Ive been slicing my woods quite badly of late.

see i prefer the slightly longer range you get from a long iron maybe a 2 or a 3 or a driving iron, but some of those new "rescue clubs" have a serious weight at teh end but also as a fully incensed tree feller,a 16" chainsaw makes a very intimidating threat to any ned with knife, and as my safety gear is in the car too never arouses much suspicion

Police have just completed forensic test on my car because of the seriousness involving use of weapon.

He actually took a swing at me with the knife. Its the first time i have experianced asian on asian crime.

Some dumb idiots about what can i say, things have changed, people seem more violent nowadays. Im now considering selling my scooby after this experiance

Some extra about this violent theif

I his 20s Around 5ft 10 medium built - Hasn't actually got curly hair. More instead funny type middle/side parting possibly mop style hair. Also has rough looking skin

The fact he wears glasses is very distict

Was just after midnight

They maybe actually be driving around in a stolen scooby now. People i have spoken to say they steal these cars for other crimes such as bank jobs etc. Cos cop cars can't keep up to them

Their nothing but scum and deserve to be nailed to a fence for all to see.

The unfortunate thing is you'd end up the worst in the world and your lucky that (a) he didn't get to you with the knife, and (b) that if you had got to him and started to kick the **** out of him that his two Mates who more then lightly also had knifes didn't get involved.

All you can realy safely do is call the police. A car isn't worth your life. Not the way things are in this day and age.

Bad sh*t m8 at least you are ok.
Deep heat is a good legal spay and what I would carry in the UK. (change the nozzle for a jet)
Would have been interesting to know what would have happened if you where armed with a torque wrench or similar and did this kid some serious damage surely if he had a knife you can kick the sh*t out of them (I wouldn't stop until they had stopped moving) as I see that is reasonable force when they are threatening your life with a large knife

Glad I am in France car crime is zero might have something to do with been able to defend yourself with asps, stun guns, pepper sprays etc and if they are in your house just like the US anything goes

Glad you're okay fella.

Reading stuff like this makes me feel like selling up and moving on... both car and residence to another country...

Unfortunately, you can't use any means to defend yourself as you will be prosecuted. The PC brigade will make sure the rights stay with those who haven't them.

What I find worrying is the fact that the theives must know about the Thatcham 1 alarms and the fact it's probably got a Tracker but they're still attempting to steal them?! and to carry a knife with the obvious attempt to use it is just scary.
