Spread the word and let's get it back to being a day out for the WYIOC, lots of them. Being forced into going 'shopping', football, and not wanting to damage your car are NOT good enough excuses. We need a new club policy whereby non-attendance at Blyton sees your club fees double
would have been there if i could

For anyone that might be slightly perplexed by the above post, a certain Mr. Shallremainnameless turned up and DROVE in a 2008 Merc (C class? not too well up on big Krautsheds) RENTAL car. And killed the tyres, unsurprisingly.

Mate, much much kudos. Would love to be a fly on the wall when that one gets dropped off. Did you sign a wear & tear waiver?

just got back from dropping it off,

we said we had a blow out and took it back with the space-saver tyre on it,

cost us £100 excess, £107 rental, £60 fuel,

split between two of us, turned out a nice £140 track day!
(including my £10 spectator/driver fee)

Possibly not the best car to take on a track day, but when the initial car was going to be £1500 deposit it was the only other vehicle available to us at such short notice,

Next time, I think we need better planning, and perhaps a propper car to rent,

thanks for not pointing and laughing, :lol2: I had a great day.
