DCI, why not re-home and Ex-Police Dog ?
Sure it may have had a hard life and come with some holes in its back where the lights were but they are well maintained and cheap

Oh and DCI, just make sure whatever you get both parents have at the very least good hips and possibly elbows.
Too many so called breeders see dogs as currency and have no real idea of what lines they are breeding. As long as something appears and can be sold, that's their primary aim.

No but I have this friendly chap Boxer
chap? She is missing a couple of vital body parts to be a chap, Spoon .
She looks stunning - and what an amazing 'repetoire'.. bit too much for what I am looking for though, her training would be completely lost with the lifestyle i lead, but thank you

Cheers..
I really like the darker colouring, when we got ours as a tiny pup,he was Jet black with tan paws.As the years have gone on,the tan has expanded..
Love the breed, also had springers and rotties in my time.. The GSD can certainly be a handful for an inexperienced dog owner..

We got ours at 8months old, he is now 1. Still got some puppy hair to get rid of. I adore him, he is great fun and has done wonders for my bum with all the walking
I always wanted a black GSD, thanks mate, you know who you are
As for a handful, yes, my shoulder is out again, after yesterdays fiasco with an unleashed staffie

Alsation is actually a town in France that was taken by the germans in WW1.
It was a place that they bred the German Shephard dog.
When Alsation was returned to the French at the end of the war, the German Shepards that are still bred there are known as Alsations!

a) Can't spell Alsatian correctly.
b) Can't spell German Shepherd Dog correctly even after trying two separate ways.
c) Getting the name of the place in France wrong.
Thanks, fatscoobfella1 for the link, I suggest you read it Marx.
