Tragic

Geezer
I do see your point but I dont understand why the husband hit the wrong man. When the wife was telling the husband about being verbally abused surely she would have said something along the lines of "a young chav/hoodie/lout just said xxxx to me", she could had said "some old fart just said xxxx to me" I dont understand why she would just say to her thug of a hubby "a male said xxxx to me" then randomly point to a queue and say "thats him"

Like somebody said earlier, wouldnt she have used age to describe them?

Having known people who have a total inability to describe what they see, I can belive its very possible that all she did was just point and say "thats him". Especially if she is a member of a particular lower order (and not so uncommon) community, who are (lets put it nicely) devoid of any common sense or intelligence.

All I can say... is Jack Bauer would have nothing on me in the torture stakes for scum like this..

I don't care what happened prior to the event... chav gob sh*te or none, I don't care if she did/didn't point at someone/something and yell that's him.. you don't take a phone call off your mrs, drive/walk to a supermarket, go into supermarket (or anywhere else for that matter) and batter the living daylights out of somebody simply because they were a bit gobby and on her say so... anybody who thinks that kind of behaviour is acceptable needs castrating with blunt scissors!
