i think that looks wicked mate.....love that kit its different, that'll get into a magazine easy, the SPOILER though, maybe the pics dont do justice? as i was looking at the pics with the origional spoiler on...and was thinkin, the spoiler looks to small for that nice bodykit, as the body kit is so big....but when i scrolled down, that new spoiler looked way too big! maybe up close, not on pic, i bet it suits the car. maybe you should take some more photo's and repost?? nice job though! maybe consider having no spoiler?? i think wud look nice. get someone to photo-shop it without the spoiler and see what u think

Before I start I would just like to state that this is about as far away from how I would spend money modding a car as you can get, but......
You need to change a few things if this is the look you're going for:
1. It's clearly not a rally car so why is it WRblue?
2. Terrible wheels. Too small, too old and (no snobbery intended) too cheap
3. Totally wrong wing.
4. Sits way too high.
IMHO this is the look you should be aiming for
One last thing. With looks like that you are going to need some serious power (and bigger brakes...)

As long as he takes it to shows coverd on the back of a trialer so nobody sees it. I'm very worried by the people on here that actually like it

with the recent reduction in cost of some of the newage wrx's and STi's they have become more available to the general public as a whole and the dreamers of the past have the oportunity to own these cars. after recently attending an SIDC event i too was astonished by the huge number of "chav's" that do own subaru's. the classic shape has become the weapon of choice in their arsenal and clear light clusters, dodgy exhausts, vinyl's and other Halfords paraphanelia adorned many of the motors we we're captivated by.
saying that though, we are all guilty of wanting to personalise our cars. from day one when we collect it and hang that air freshner off the rear view mirror to the day you add that exhaust, lowering kit, set of wheels etc. we all do it. this guy has added his own touch to his car and has placed it here for it to be viewed and commented on. may not be everyones "cup of tea" as it we're but respect the mans choice and appreciate the fact that it still flies the Subaru Stars. good luck with the shows, will be looking for this one on the stands.

says a man who's done this to his car:-
lol.
i think its looks great and different. enjoy it and ignore the negative comments. (a slightly smaller spoiler as said might balance it out a bit)
i bet it clears the fast lane

Im sure ive seen this car at a local paintshop (friskney lincs?) If it is your the one that ran himself out of money on the cheesy kit and had to cancel the 450 engine conversion?? And now it sits on your driveway with no engine at all!! Personally i would have got the engine sorted and left that kit on a shelf

If this is true, why would you feel the need to mention it on a public forum?
If you dont like the car just say so and move on.

sorry that looks pant's, spoilt a perfectly good car, i wont be flashing you if i see you coming the other way! i think that sort of look is putting subaru's in the same class as the saxo, 106, corsa body kitted cars, (nothing wrong with those cars by the way) just makes me wanna sell mine as i dont wanna be assosiated with that look at all
but each to there own, and good luck with the car

Cars looks the part mate, well done!! like the big spoiler too, finishes it off in my opinion. Glad to see someone else has the ***** to make there car look different to the normal run of the mill stuff you see everyday

not my cup of tea and I wouldn't want to own it but looks like its been done properly.
kinda amusing to read the comments from new age owners complaining about the cars dropping in value and being brought by chavs. welcome to the world of the discerning classic owner

Different. I wouldn't do that to MY car but we need to see that one mans meat is another mans poison, and diversity fuels the internet forums and the modified world in general!
Quality and workmanship looks second to none. . . .

Well the OP was allways going to get mixed opinions messing with a ltd edition like that, most of the people on here are purists after all including me! I rekon with a few tweeks though people would appreciate it more, you need to go full on DTM style. I.E slam it, some choice decals, an ally/carbon rear wing and strip and cage the interior. No point doing half a job now you must of spent some serious wedge on the car! Bodykits need leaving in the 90's though the motorsport look is the future! Good luck mate and don't be put of by all the negative tw*ts

Fvck me, never thought id see this forum turn into the snob forum aka MLR....
I think the car looks ok, I wouldn't personally do what he's done but some over the top comments, Ive seen some real heaps on here tbh which have been followed by countless **** kissing comments, so i think a lot of the snobbish remarks are a little immature and out of order....JMO but some ppl need to grow up.
