pssst.... Petey Your comment on the other thread about "picking bits of the Cav up after a bend" cant be justified unless you have driven and used a Cavalier/Calibra 4x4 Turbo properly.

I'll admit mine isnt the best at the moment but thats more to do with the ****e Avon ZZR tyres I have on which, as everyone in here will tell you, are one of the crappest tyres for grip. I will be changing to SO2's or F1's later.

I obviously need to take you for a spin in mine..... Mebbe take T-UK for a spin at the next RR day and he can let you know

p.s. The Scoob was driven by a bloke

Good job cleland was in saloons, rallying is dangerous enough with all those trees to hit. Just imagine having that banger racer there as well.

eheh, no problem T-UK..... Just need to change my tyres tho if I want to show exactly what it can do as its got them pissy AVON ZZR's on them which I have mentioned above as being REALLY bad tyres as a lot of ppl on here have said ages ago as well..... I think a few ppl here said they are downright dangerous.

Might not be the first night as I think its pretty soon aint it ?? Need to get the clutch done (slipping like buggery since power increase which is why I am missing the RR day at STAR tomorrow ) and I have the water injection and Wilwood Superlite 4 pots with 300mm discs to fit as well so I can stop better

Have had a word with K-Hill and the first date is 18th April and then the next one is June (31st I think) . These are all provisional dates they say.

I'll try and make the April one but if not then definitely the June one Reckon we will need to take turns as passenegers in each car tho mate

I have posted in the Scotland forum about another RR day as well so I might see you there before the Top Marques night

p.s. The ppl that drive in the TM night are a bit different than the Hot Hatch ones right ?? I dont mind taking my car on the track..... Its the other nutters I am worried about incase they dent the car

I know what you mean about the hot hatch days,I would not put my car on them either .I used Avons on my last car and find them like the standard scooby tyres, crap on road but good for track work if it stays dry.I would not go to a track day if you have more than 4mm tread.

Strange but true that T-UK, the tyres were great at Kames when it was dry (which was for about 20 mins before the monsoon hit) so I might just leave them on for it

I'll let you know if I can make the April date
