I still feel that some drivers are not ready for such a quick car at such a young age.
When I passed my test THE car to have was an RS2000.... 112 bhp ! About as likely as owning a new EVO X at the age of 19 today. It made surviving a mistake a lot easier to have slow, old cars back then.
And for Mick, lucky you were in a car with a decent build quality, I walked away from a MK.II Golf and was astounded that it stood-up so well.
