Phil, seriously, anything 'branded' that is a big seller internationally will have knock-offs made in China for 1/10 of the retail price within a very short time. Just show them a sample and they'll do the rest. You'll need me as your partner cos you don't speak Chinese, lol.

Phil, you do need me as a partner or you do speak Chinese? If the former, I can claim to have studied under two Nobel laureates in Economics in my younger days, so you will be in good hands.

Phil, you will need to disable the flash on your film or digital camera for the neon to show up well, plus probably need a tripod to hold the camera steady.

Fitted some blue LEDs in the foot hold and wired them up to my side lights, so when i switched my lights on they came on too.
Blue light that is visable from out side the car is illegal

Markus...When I saw your blue lights, I thought they looked so good that I went and bought a pair yesterday - fitted 'em, and the interior looks awesome at night. Looks real cool when you focus the beams on the gear stick area....
Cheers...if it wasn't for you posting the picture, never would have done it!

Phil, am I missing something here? 15' of total darkness? You need a camera that allows you to take a (long)time exposure, a feature absent in lower priced digital cameras. In case you start a "tart" movement, just remember who is the spiritual founder, lol.
BTW, where's the next 15' going to fit? Around the grill or the airscoop will definitely beat all those washer LEDs by the mile?
Viewed your pics. on another computer and they come out much better, so I am withdrawing my earlier statement of "total darkness", my monitor's settings are off.

Phil, you may be better off using the 1/4 inch strip thingy instead of the EL wire for the door frame. Fix it on the door sill and wire it to the interior light, so it lights up when you open the door. They come in lengths of 28 inches, so that should be good for the two front doors at 14" each side, and being 1/4" wide, they are much brighter than the wires.
