What do you reckon Snazy?
OK, I will be serious too .... and ask ....
If there was a way to have the same tattoo, but it not be permanent (maybe lasting about 5 years and then fading to nothing), would that appeal to you more than the 'one shot' offerings?
I was wondering whether the tattoo could be done at a depth which would fade as the skin replaced itself?
It a genuine thought of mine.

I do agree that some tattoo's are poor taste, badly thought out, and no doubt some people end up regretting them. However the 3rd line of the motto being tattoo'ed at this present time is "No Regret", as I choose not to regret any decisions I make

I think the pain/sensation experienced is not pleasurable, but more something that you are willing to undergo to get the end result. I would losely compare it to giving blood or birth lol. If that makes sense.
In short the "one shot" is non regrettable, so its fine
Thats fair enough.
As you know, I am not a fan of tattoos ..... I couldn't have one as it would say something about me which I would rather not, if you get my meaning.
The things that are precious to me are just that, precious to me, and not to be plastered over my body for everyone to see .... but that is my expression - yours is more visual.
Each to their own, but I will never think it is wise to get tattoos .... so, I will now slip away from the thread

Just on the question about non-permanent tattoos, that's what I had done, as I was young and not sure I wanted to be marked for life then. Luckily I still like it, as it was supposed to only last upto 5 years, almost 10 years on and it's still there.
Of course, there is a risk with a tattoo, that some point down the line, you may not like it anymore, but it's a risk some are simply willing to take. The same can be said for many choices in life.

My choice is a visual expression that does not however say what it means in pictures. But is a personal representation of a moment, if that makes sense.
You should get a little hidden one one day, just for kicks lol.

My brother in law has his little boys name & d.o.b on his wrist... and a tattoo version of the little boys baby picture on his chest...
It obviously means alot to him to have had the picture done, but I don't think it is the nicest tat I've ever seen..and he is stuck with it

I don't agree with your infraction, mainly because of the sensible points, and discussion you entered into later on the thread. To be honest I doubt Snazy would be responsible, as I'm sure he appreciated that too.
Come on Pete, you know me better, if I think you are an ****, I will tell you.... Then SOMEONE can infract me for that eh

Finally on a serious note.............. Nope, in the words of Shaggy.... "It wasn't me"
Cheers for the show of faith Lisa, unlike SOME !!
PS I would like to support the overturning of the infraction on PSL for this thread... if only so I can infract him for accusing me of infracting him, thus having the satisfaction of banning him......................... please !
Im fired up and ready to go.....

Snazy you and the rest of the tattooed brigade are total jokes. You all think it's a mark of something but all it shows is what losers you are. Pete is so right in what he says about tats. The guy in this thread looks ridiculous. He's put himself up for public debate so if I get infracted for my opinion it's all the more proof that those with tats aren't man enough to do things for themselves and need public adoration of their moves.

You really need to give up drinking and coming in here and being offensive.
There is nothing wrong with a nice tattoo, I rather like them as I have one myself. Not as big, granted, but so what.

Dude, I dont know who the hell you are, and quite frankly, dont wanna. However, your opinion, and im glad you have aired it.. Your arrogant sod
Just joking of course, because im a joke

Lee, dont worry about it, there are specialist on hand 24-7 to worry about people like this
They're pretty much terrible 99.9% of the time. Typical tasteless thing from the Brits. Can see them now walking around the pool in Spain, tats out looking like some cliché. tats are vulgar to anybody with a degree of class but on a Subaru forum you'll be lucky to find that the way the brand has gone. I'm all for personal freedom but if you post pictures of tats on a public forum then it's fair game as I see it for praise and criticism. Not that it will be seen that way and I'll be infracted to kingdom come.

I would totally agree that some tat's are badly thought out and paint a picture about the person they are on..... however others I would say are not.
Praise and criticism are slightly different to personal judgements. But I guess anyone who chooses to make such comments must have a tattoo, and no class

You're getting a fish tattooed on your leg. fish are god ugly things... why would you want that on your body? I just don't get it i guess and yes there's an arrogance because I think it's baffling. There's no ill feeling just think people getting tats are missing something in their lives. It's an attention thing as I see it.

I don't infract, so you are safe

As for the class thing, Rubbish. You have blinkers on. A nice tattoo is a real turn on for me, but then again, I am ten years older than you and have no class

A well toned Male body with a tattoo, whoohooo.
So while we are being serious... what about a tattoo suddenly changes the class of a person, im curious about this.
