i managed to get this today from gamestation, brill so far Just wondering, i can only find one clothes shop with crap all in them, how many are there and do they all have different clothes in them??? i can also see my xbox overheating as i cant stop playing it

 

I sat for ages watching the tv the first night I got the game. "I'm rich" had me laughing more than i've laughed in a long time, because those programmes on Mtv etc are f*cking terrible!

 

i bought a nice dapper suit and some brown shoes from a shop on another island today

still trying to get a car to roll 5 times, its proving a bit more difficult then you would imagine

 

Bowing is easy. Two full steps left then with two fingers on the sides of the right thumb stick pull it back count to 1 on 2 push forwards. I found it easyer to put controler on table and turn it so right stick is in front of me. You need to make sure the r stick only goes back and forwards any movement to left or right puts a bit of spin on the ball.

Pool i found it best to just leave the cue alone and just take the shot thats lined up ready same again with right stick pull back count to one push fowards on two.

Also when you are on the internet (in the game) Type www what they do not want you to know .com without space's this will bring up a web page of all hidden parts of the game its not a cheat!

 

Not tried it yet, but apparently the ramps on the airport runways are the best way to get this.

 

Had this forum had spoiler tags i would of used them, however the story is pretty poor to be honest

Pete, how can you say the controls are better?. they are shocking, on foot you have to fight with the cam to point the way you want, car control is just rediculous, as for auto aim if theres more than 2 people in the room it decides to aim at random walls. And if you duck for cover it's a work of art trying to get back out of cover and shoot the guys you want.

Don't get me wrong it's a good game, just not great.

 

Can someone kill Michelle? I wouldn't mind knowing if the story changes.

 

It's not perfect by any means, but compared to GTA3/VC/SA it's streets ahead.

 

I tried this earlier, she kept falling down but getting back up before walking home. She wouldn't die.

I must admit, this game is growing on me.

 

yea saw the ramps, and hit them a good 4/5 times but could not get the hang of it, maybe need a faster car, plus the police were shooting at me so i gave up

 

i also tried running her over, but she just went in a huff and said she was making her own way home, huffy bitch

 

does anything actually happen with this michelle bird, or do you just keep on randomly taking her out??

 

I spent around 10-15mins and then for some reason got it after 3 rolls, get a taxi down to the airport and dial car-555-0168 to spawn a GT, saves the trouble of driving down, also if you destroy it you can spawn another provided you can avoid the police

 

Unless I misread what it said when you first date Michelle, it said, this is your girlfriend, she'll be one of many during the game, or words to that effect, for this reason i never bothered dating her after the 2nd date as it sounded like it would get tedious.

 

The game bored me to begin with, felt like "RockStar Taxi Driver Simulator" but the story gets much better later. A few missions are gems, like Three Leaf Clover, and the one with Bernie Crane jogging is a lot of fun, was good to get something a bit silly to break up the tension of the main story.

 

Lol yeah, one of the few moments that made me laugh , I finished the story and am now finishing up on the side missions, tbh enjoying them more than the story, guess it's the freedom.

is there only 1 clothes shop on the island (russian shop), as i at the moment the guy is walking around looking like a tramp

 

More shops on the next island.

 

but when i go on another island i get 6 stars and the coppers after me

 

Do a few more missions and unlock the next island then

 

what game completion % do i need to get to unlock another island ?? on 6.8 at the mo

 

Can't remember but it doesnt take long, completion % doesn't help as it goes by all aspects of the game, ie story, side missions, collect all 200 pigeons etc.

You need to do x amount of story missions to unlock the next island.

Can i just point out as my previous post didnt seem very clear, doing extra/side missions to increase the completion % DOES NOT affect when the island opens, this is down to number of Story missions completed

Dwayne's Photo Shoot Mission - I left it and still got to the part where you had to choose between him & Playboy X - guess which one I capped...

and those drug deliverie's are hard as ****!!

 

lol, the timed ones were, i found it best in the end park up as close as and run the rest of the way.

how many are timed? I've done the first as LJ's liking of me was dropping through the floor...

 

Theres 3 types of drug running

-Drive to point A within a set time.
-Drive to point A with no time limit and simply talk to/drop off with the dealer
-Drive to point A then get set upon by a rival gang having to shoot your way out, usually the second 2 have a level 1 wanted level.

Theres only 10 to do, i think there were 3 timed, 3 gangs and 4 of the drop off hassle free missions.
