Azz mate, Statistically Chelsea F.C has been more of a hospital than a football club this season so to be fair you should take stats from time on the pitch, if each player had played the same amount of time on the pitch as the other the team would look a lot different so you can't really go off the stats.

A lucky point for Man U today looks like the Blues can still do it ........................Unfortunately i dont think we will though, Grant seems to bottle the big games with weird team selections

i see what your saying but other than stats the best players would then be picked by peoples opinion and hyperthetical performances, the team i put down above would not be the team i think are the best players this year by the way mate, regardless of what people have said above brown has been the best right back this year, wether because of injuries to others or rotation. i don't think anyone could honestly think of another! do i want him as right back not really which is why we'll buy another in the summer(hopefully).
i'd leave the back 5 i picked, bring lamps and cole in for young and cesc,
replace the front 2 with rooney(flame suit on) and berbatov, because both create so much for others and score, and rooney(who has missed 12 league games himself because of niggling injuries) in particular drives the team on.
this is of course my opinion

that might be the case, but you're 3 behind on Champions Leagues. We will still be the most decorated english club for some time.

And to those who go on about talking history from 20 years ago, well you dont need to go back that far, i can think of at least 6 trophies in the 21st century.........

touch of class from rio yesterday, clumsk fk backheeled for cruz goal. don howe recently said in an interview that Jamie Carragher was England's best defender.

all 3 CB's are world class on their day. Jamie C had 3 great games against arsenal and has been a constant performer all season.
John Terry has been plagued with injuries but anyone who doesnt see him as a true leader needs their heads examined.
Rio again has been instrumental in mancs back line, dont see him as a leader but he's still class.

In my opinion Toure is class as well but sadly not English. same as Gallas but for some reason have found it hard to work together.

England has never had a problem at CB.

Why did they need to "warm down" after sitting on the bench all afternoon?

If players haven't played but are sub they will always do a post match work out as they will have carb loaded in preparation of playing. It's the norm thing to do.

Would they have had to warm down after the punch up?

your not getting away with it that easy you've been on here and said that John Terry isn't fit to be England captain do you think its right that the next England captain (in your opinion)Rio Ferdinand to behave the way he did by losing is head towards the end of the game for no reason and then kicking a girl stewart also Owen Hargreaves(your other tip for England captain) wasn't much better.Manchester Utd yesterday from manager to the players were a disgrace.

and Chelsea players or even ones from any team haven't reacted in a angry manor after losing a late goal in a vital game? The incident with Rio sounds like it was accidental and the lady involved has laughed it off. You're trying to make more out of it then there is much like the media. I'd be more worried if the players just accepted the defeat. The manor could have been better but it shows they care. Something which people often accuse players of not doing.

Keep stirring if you wish

Glad Chelsea won it keeps the remaining 2 games interesting.

Can't see Manure not winning the title, there last 2 games are
a lot easier than Chelsea, especially the last game against
Bolton who will be scrapping for survival more so then already
safe Wigan

What makes me laugh is Manure fans (Thanks for that one by the way WR 1mposter) haha actually thought they were going to come to the Bridge and WIN!? Fergie obviously knew his best side couldnt beat us at the Bridge thats why he didn't risk Ronaldo, heck Carvalho even GAVE them a goal and we still beat them.
