Getting there.

You fitting a rotated turbo? I've got the heat shield thing for the induction kit from Tim's old car if you want to make a template/replica.

Been a bit quiet in here but that's because I've been busy, I think I'll make a list

Clutch actuator bracket finished, painted, fitted and tested.
Remote PS tank bracket made, tank/bracket painted and PS system now fully fitted.
AVCS loom reconnected correctly (doh!) and loom extenders added. Thanks to Tim at JTI for sending them over gratis
Head breather blanks purchased and fitted.
Old fan removed.
-AN blanks fitted on catch can and PS tank.
Alarm siren bracket extended, painted and remounted on bulkhead
Wiring from cabin to bay finished. A MASSIVE thanks to Micky for sourcing an untouched aircon hose grommet. Hero.
Swirl pot painted and mounted.

I've also been spending some money; new induction hose to fit for the CAI and oil cooler; (twin ply this time so even if the reinforcement goes rusty I can't see it!), a pair of Spal fans to fit - thanks to Banny for the heads up on the ebay seller - and finally the quick release catches I've been searching for. I need to trim a bit of metal to allow a nice air flow to the oil cooler too...which means the bumper is coming off but when it goes back on again it will be faster

One of the reasons this update has taken so long is everything has to evolve as I fit it; its all custom so there is quite a bit of tailoring to fit. Fitting the Accumsump was always going to be a challenge but I thought I had it licked with my longitudinally mounted race battery. Wrong. So now I have a nice new battery tray, a shed load of starter cable and a big parcel of goodies on their way from the interweb. Battery is going in the boot and I'm going to mount two terminals on the inner wing next to the rad overflow for the engine side.

Mounting the fuel pump and filter nicely was also presenting a problem with my original layout idea...but I found a very nice twin bracket for £15 on ebay (OK, so it's not perfect; I have to shorten the centre part [drill and tap new holes] and make a shim for the filter as its smaller diameter than the pump) and had another re think

This time is does all actually fit as I've managed to mock it up for the first time. Happy bunny.

No photos sucks...but I'm backing my phone up at present so you will have to be patient; 45mins to go

Spelt my name wrong twice!

Intercooler connected up and and exhaust fitted will massively help you.

Looking good Ian. Glad I was able to help mate.

Going Bike Park Wales on my big bouncy bike...one of my mates organised a last minute camping/men only type weekend which was an offer I couldn't refuse; big hills, bikes, beer, tents, sheeps and no birds

Sheeeeeeet...I'm so slack

Will have some time over the Xmas week for some photo updates, Frenchie is looooong gone now and D has bought a Swift Sport so along with my hair-dresser mobile we are back to an all Jap household which means no more unreliable cars to distract me
