You two should be on stage...preferably in stocks so I can throw rotten fruit at you
Funnily enough I spoke to a very nice lady today and hope to have some ECU info in the next few days

depends on what’s available in the spring\early summer next year as far as standard position turbos go...will keep the 18g initially so I don't stick it in a ditch and then decide at the time. Love the idea of a rotated 30R but not sure I can justify the additional expense at present and there is always twin scroll to consider; imagine a classic with a twin scroll blower on a 2.35 running 500\500 will be mental on the road
not yet Jura...will slap some up once I get some though

As you are said use yours 18G,which will be great to drive on yours build 2.35L with AVCS and if time will come and money allow, you will see what will be best.
Sometimes is good to keep eye on forums and some bidding sites, plus PH.
But i like idea of Twin scroll turbo on 2.35L

Agreed too much turbos out there and Twin scroll turbo with 500/500 on 2.35L with AVCS bloody hell, almost instant power,i would like something similar and we are looking for GT30.63A/R which hopefully replace our turbo, because is too big for 2.1,this turbo better will perform on 2.35 or 2.5.

you are right..PH always confused me though; its so big I never know where to start and then get stuck on the classifieds imagining I've won the lottery
When we are thinking to build our one,we are don't think on Twin scroll, but from reports these turbos rotated or no,have amazing spool and power too..
As you are said, you will see at this time

So I'm a little anxious...long engine will be done before xmas barring any unforeseen nasties and I'm off to pick up my gearbox from Gazza at GR Performance second week of December. Exciting stuff

bit of an update with a few pics...
PPG bits have arrived from Oz and I think I've sourced the DCCD centre diff and transfer case too so gearbox is almost ready for building.

sti crank pulley now cleaned up, painted and with SMG. Mo has finished balancing everything so the short engine is almost ready to be built after another clean

Heads are almost done, a couple of teaser pics from Steves' mobile...lots of additional work required as they were such a mess...I should have sourced some big port JDM heads really. Oh well

Another update from Steve, valve seats now re machined
